District Special Education Director
Bethel Public School is accepting applications for a full time Special Education Director for the 2023-2024 school year. The director will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive system to provide services to all eligible children and families as required by the Individual with Disabilities Education Act. The director will be responsible for the oversight of data collection and reporting procedures required to demonstrate that Bethel Public School is in compliance with the state-established performance criteria for special education. The director will be responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and Bethel school district policies while serving as an advocate of children with disabilities in the design and implementation of district-wide policies and procedures for the department. PC Technician

The PC Technician's role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems,
desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining,
and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation
performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate
fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.

Other responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
  • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
  • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.

Qualified candidates will possess the following abilities:

  • Intermediate typing skills
  • Familiarity with computer hardware
  • Ability to repair and replace computers’ internal components
  • Research, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Operating system and application errors

Qualified candidates must be willing to learn the following:

  • Comprehension of Wifi components, ability to test and troubleshoot wifi connectivity
  • Familiarity of VoIP telephone and paging systems
  • Student information Systems
  • Network printing systems
  • Google products, Google Classroom, Google Drive
  • Networking, cabling, and network installation
